THE COACHES

Mike Hanley has over 40 years experience with Lacrosse.  Starting in
1977 he played in Long Island New York for the Long Island Lacrosse
club.  After a 22 year career in the military as Navy demolition diver,
Mike retired from military service and immediately returned to the sport
of Lacrosse by coaching in New Port, Rhode Island for two years.  As
with the Bobcats, this Rhode Island program was brand new and Mike
is proud to have been instrumental in growing a program from the
beginning to a team that was then able to win the regional championships
in the Program's 3rd year.  Mike has recently moved to the Gainesville
area and is looking forward to a long tenure with the Bobcats and to
making this program very successful.  He loves the Gainesville area and
has proclaimed that he plans on living  here for a long a prosperous life
at the end of which he will die with Lacrosse sticks in his hands.
