| IMPORTANT NEW INFORMATION: 5-30-09 - HUGE thanks to the Millinoff's for all their hard work on the Middle School League. It was an amazingly successful program. For those middle schoolers who want to continue developing their skills, there are two local options this summer. The first is the Millinoff's summer clinic - it is a MUST do for all middle school players including the rising 9th graders. The other option is open to players of all ages - the Gainesville Growl Summer League which plays every Monday and Wednesday night for the duration of the summer at PK. NOTE: We encourage all players interested in playing Lacrosse at Buchholz to send us all your contact information so we can send you updates about BBLax. End of the year banquet (pot luck) will be April 25th, more details to follow via email. 3-28-09 - Games next week: PK at 7pm and then the Trinity Prep tournament - see schedule for more details. Game for both teams in Tallahassee on Thursday. 3-22-09 - Getting to the end of the season with two short weeks to go. Please consider helping with the Middle School League. See emails for more details. 3-8-09 - Trinity Prep tournament has been confirmed. Visit the game schedule for more details. 2-23-2009 - PK Yonge needed to reschedule the March 3rd Game. We will now play that game on March 11th. 2-21-09 - GO BOBCATS!!! Congrats to the Varsity for their first win and to the JV team for their amazing game! Hope to see you all out there. Photos have been added. 02-15-09 - First weekend of games are done. While a little heart-breaking, we came away with some good lessons. Mostly, we have learned that this season will be hard and we need all players to really step up. While we will have many hardships ahead, we wish to remind everyone to keep their spirits up and remember to have a good time while out playing on the field. While we may not win a lot this season, we are playing some really experienced teams and should take away some solid experience for the years to come. This week we will have two games - another trip to Tally on Tuesday and then our big home game on Friday night!!! Please make sure you are geared up and ready 1 hour prior to face off for both these games. On Tuesday - all players need to move as quickly as possible to the parking lot as soon as 5th period is over. We will leave very quickly in order to make the JV's face off. Get your rides arranged for now. Practice this week will be Monday and Thursday 3-6. 02-07-09 - Congratulations to White!!! After a hard fought battle, White winds over Black in Overtime 12-11. Please encourage everyone to make sure everything is picked up after games/practices. 02-06-09 - Black and Gold Scrimmage tomorrow. We also updated the related links page to reflect our support of Queen City Lacrosse as a place to purchase gear and we added a link to the Buchholz Girls Lacrosse website. 01-25-09 First week and try-outs are DONE! Thank you to all who came out and gave Lacrosse a try. A special thank you to all who are now the first official Buchholz High School Varsity and JV Boys Lacrosse team. The Rosters are now posted, as is the game and practice schedule. If you see any corrections that are needed to the roster including spelling, number, or name - please email Renee at musson@ufl.edu.
